Hi There! I'm Laura, and I am the pioneer of Starbunz, mom to 2 hyper boys and wife to a good looking computer programmer (yeah! They don't all look geeky, although personality wise he still kind of is, lol!)

Starbunz is run out of my home, with the base of production operations being about 20% of my house. We are thrilled and consider ourselves blessed that this business offers me the opportunity to stay with my kids.

I am still largely responsible for things like packing, shipping, quality control and customer service. but we have a contractor that does the sewing. These diapers are a huge battle to get made! Every appliqué has to be die cut, which is then sent to the embroider who receives cut diaper pieces and makes the cutesy animals. Then they get hidden snaps, then off to the contractors where they meet more die cut ears and are constructed, fully bound and cutified. It is about a two week process to get a run of these puppies made, and the whole time my kiddles and I are driving to and fro to make sure things are running smoothly. This is definably a full time job! I consider myself more a work-in-car mom than a work-at-home mom, lol.
